My passion is helping clients navigate life's challenges, and I believe the foundation of meaningful therapy begins with meeting each person exactly where they are. I understand that no single therapeutic approach works for everyone, which is why I tailor my work to each individual's unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

Above all, I am committed to providing a safe, warm, and supportive therapeutic relationship—one where clients feel comfortable opening up about their struggles and taking meaningful steps toward lasting change.

I have extensive experience working with individuals facing depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and anxiety disorders. These deeply personal challenges can affect every aspect of life, and I bring both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to supporting clients through them.

To best serve each client, I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brainspotting, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

Rene holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and is supervised by Josh J Kellar, LPC-S, ensuring a high standard of professional practice and continuous development.
