My experience as a special education teacher, campus administrator and counselor for almost three decades has provided me the knowledge and skills to work with your child, adolescent and even adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, addiction or PTSD. Understanding how these challenges ultimately affect behaviors in the classroom, at home, and in the workplace environments, help fuel my passion to connect, learn, and problem solve with my clients and their families on an interpersonal level in an effort to build HOPE.
I pull from multiple the rotors and techniques to help my clients navigate their own path to healing and recovery. I utilize CBT, DBT, and Solution Focused Brief to help my clients find renewed strength and resilience.
I received a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Texas A & M University and a Master of Education in Psychology from Texas A & M University. I also have a certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. In addition to private practice, I am a School Psychologist for Robertson County Special Services Cooperative serving five small, rural school districts in Robertson County (Texas).
