Alejandro Gonzalez

After dedicating almost 20 years to the educational system as a Special Education teacher, Success Coach, Behavioral Specialist, and Restorative Discipline Coordinator, my expertise is geared towards supporting individuals and families of different ages and backgrounds. With my extensive experience in mental health and behavioral health, I tailor my sessions to meet the specific needs of each client.

My background allows me to understand the challenges faced by children, adolescents, and adults. Whether conducting individual or group therapy sessions, I provide comprehensive support tailored to the unique experiences of each client.

If you need help navigating anxiety, depression, work stress, trauma, or life changes, I am here to support you.

Throughout my career, I have utilized diverse therapeutic approaches and techniques to assist clients. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Client-Centered Therapy are among the methods I employ to guide clients on their journeys. As a former educator, I value and emphasize psychoeducation, believing it is crucial for understanding life challenges and mental health. I strive to educate myself every day.

I received my Master of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University and additional graduate education toward a Mental Health Certification from Lamar University.
