       Chung

I am a dual-credentialed behavioral health clinician serving the Texas area, holding both a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential and licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. My background bridges two disciplines that don't often overlap — applied behavior analysis and counseling psychology — and that combination gives me a uniquely layered perspective on human behavior, emotional regulation, and lasting change.

I work with individual adults and couples, drawing from evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and attachment-informed frameworks. I have extensive experience supporting clients navigating perfectionism, people-pleasing, low self-worth, relational stress, and the effects of trauma. My graduate training includes specialized certifications in Military Resilience and Addiction Studies, and my clinical work is further informed by my lived experience as a military spouse — giving me both the professional foundation and personal understanding to walk alongside military-connected clients and families.

In addition to private practice, I work at a state-supported living center providing behavioral and mental health services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities — a population I am deeply committed to serving with dignity and clinical excellence. I am currently completing advanced graduate training in behavioral sciences, with a long-term goal of earning my doctorate in Traumatology.

My approach is warm, direct, and grounded. I believe the therapeutic relationship is itself a vehicle for healing, and I work collaboratively with clients to build insight, skills, and the kind of self-compassion that makes real change possible.

Michelle is supervised by Africa Logan, MA, LPC-S, ensuring a high standard of professional practice and continuous development.
